Continued 1st Chapter

Kenji Kurosaki was born in Tokyo on March 15, 1930. He was descended from a family of samurai, allowing him to open his own dojo, the legendary "Mejiro Gym", which rivaled Osamu Noguchi as a result of his stubbornness. The true creator of the Japanese kickboxing title, decided to create his own style, known as "shin kakuto jutsu" (new fighting art). From his study of muay thai, Osamu Noguchi developed a combined combat art, which he called kickboxing, combining more rules than muay thai techniques. The main techniques of kickboxing still came from the Japanese karate of contact, the kyokushinkai. However, some variations were initially allowed to differentiate it from muay thai. Osamu Noguchi founded and chaired in 1966 the first kickboxing organization, the "World Kickboxing Association WKBA" that the United States, more specifically Washington, only arrived in 1976. The first official kickboxing event occurred on April 11, 1966 "Tadashi Sawamura vs. Saman Soo Adison", Japan vs. Thailand, Tadashi Sawamura, the first professional kickboxing athlete in the world.
