From then on, the sport spreads throughout the world, becoming an international sport. In the USA, a number of associations were formed to support this modality, WKA (World Karate Association), ISKA (International Sport Karate Association), KICK (International Kickboxing Karate Council), PKC (Professional Karate Commission), WAKO-Pro Kickboxing Organizations Professional) and WKF (World Kickboxing Federation) founded in 1987 in London. With the formation of all these associations in the US and the rest of the world, the world title became almost mandatory, kickboxing becoming internationally integrated in combat arts disciplines.
